HDC S6 G9200

The Samsung Galaxy S6 was welcomed by positive reviews after the Android flagship went official during the MWC back in February. No doubt, the phone is a nice phone with good pricing (about $700) but some sections of the crowd will root for a yet cheaper handset, so China brought the answer for a Samsung Galaxy S6 at rock bottom price.

The HDC S6 G9200 is one of the first S6 phones and subsequently one of the best, according to people familiar with the matter. The 5″ 720p smartphone comes with a heart rate monitor and fingerprint sensor under the home key, just like the real thing- and it costs only $135 at Fastcardtech.

Under the hood, the HDC device is powered by a budget MediaTek MT6582 chipset which houses a quad-core CPU running at 1.5GHz and a PowerVR SGX544 graphics card. There’s 2GB of RAM and non-expandable 16GB of storage (a bit low). The handset runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with a user interface which mimics Samsung’s TouchWiz UI.

For photography, the S6 (HDC S6 G9200) houses an 8-megapixel primary snapper and LED flash for taking photos. The selfie department is equipped with a 2-megapixel shooter above the phone's screen. Finally the handset measures 6.86 mm thin, weighing 160 grams inclusive of the sealed 2550mAh Li-Ion battery.
