Furthermore, Sony’s Super SteadyShot image stabilization will move the image sensor in response to camera shake to reduce any chance of blurring and incorporating anti-dust technology, for flawless captures.

With Sony’s Bionz image processor, the Alpha A700 benefits from quick response times and continuous burst speeds of either 5 or 3 frames per second at full 12.24 mega pixels resolution. A continuous burst of 11 RAW shots could be taken and for those who need more continuity, the A700 allows you to shoot to the limit of available memory in JPEG Fine and Standard modes.

With the Eye-Start Autofocus System, the A700 begins its autofocus as you bring your eye to the advanced pentaprism viewfinder. The 11-point centre dual cross AF sensor ensures precision while its Super-Accurate Exposure Control offers a 40-segment honeycomb sensing system for superior exposure control accuracy.

The Sony A700’s magnesium alloy body holds well and access via its 3-inch LCD to its menu functions is quick using joystick and forward-back controls. Capable of 650 shots on a full charge, you have a choice of storage through built-in slots for both Compact Flash Type I/II and Memory Stick Duo/high capacity Memory Stick PRO Duo.
